A day in Lugano in celebration of solidarity
Despite the rainy weather of the morning, on Saturday 18 September the event "Mondo Al Parco 2021" was successfully held in Lugano at the Ciani Park.
As ActionAid we were present with our Director Gisella Reina to meet the visitors and talk about our new projects in support of education in Kenya and women around the world.
"Having the opportunity to finally meet people live and speak with them about our projects was great! It has given us the opportunity to raise awareness among many visitors on the importance of education as a tool to build a future free from poverty. We have been happy to welcome so many people interested in our work and we hope that many will accept our appeal and help us achieve long-lasting and sustainable change"
