In just a few days, the military escalation between Israel, the United States and Iran has already caused more than 1,000 deaths in Iran, including 168 girls in a primary school. In Lebanon, more than 83,000 people are fleeing. In Israel, some civilians have been killed in their homes. Families are fleeing with only what they are wearing. Women and girls face the most serious risks.
ActionAid works with local organizations to urgently ensure:
- essential goods for those who have lost everything
- financial assistance to displaced families
- protection for women and children
- psychological support
Needs are growing rapidly in a geographical area already weakened by years of conflict, and for this reason it is essential to act now.
