This notice provides you with information on how cookies are used and how the user can control them. By using this website (and any other site operated by us), the user accepts the use of cookies (and similar technologies) in accordance with this policy.
What are cookies
Cookies are information saved on the hard disc of the user’s device and are sent by the user’s browser to a Web server and concern the use of the web. So, they allow to recognise the services, the websites which are visited and the options which are chosen while browsing the web. In other words, cookies are small files of letters and numbers which are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website.
Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website, which recognises that cookie. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise a user’s device. Cookies are not spontaneously and directly provided by the user, but they track user’s web browsing.
Cookies do many different jobs, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improving your experience. They can also help to ensure that advertisements displayed during the navigation are more relevant to you and your interests, avoiding nuisance adverts or not of your interest or needs.
During a website browsing, the user can receive also cookies which are sent by other websites or servers’ website (so called: “third parties”) where there are some contents (e.g.: images, maps, sounds, specific links to other websites) which are displayed on the website you are browsing.
There are two broad categories of cookies:
- First-party cookies: which are served directly by a website to your computer.
- Third-party cookies: which are served by a third party on behalf of the website. We use third party cookies to help us analyse our websites and their use.
Cookies can also be categorized based on their purpose:
- Technical Cookies: used to enable communication over an electronic network or to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. These are not used for any other purposes. The use of technical cookies does not require user’s consent. Types include:
- Navigation or session cookies: ensure normal website navigation and use (e.g., login to restricted areas). These are not stored permanently on the user’s device and are automatically deleted upon closing the browser. Their use is limited to the transmission of session identifiers (random numbers generated by the server) necessary for secure and efficient site exploration.
- Analytics cookies: if used solely to collect aggregated information about the number of users and how they visit the website.
- Functionality cookies: allow navigation according to selected criteria (e.g., language, selected services) to improve the user’s experience.
- Profiling Cookies: These create user profiles and are used to deliver targeted advertising based on preferences expressed while browsing. These cookies can only be used with the user’s explicit consent.
This website does not install profiling cookies.

Categories of cookies we use and how users can manage them
The types of cookies used can be classified into one of the categories listed in the table below, which allows the user to give or modify their consent (if previously given) to accept the various types of cookies
Cookie Type | Purpose | Source and How to Block |

Use of IP addresses
Our servers automatically collect the user’s IP address solely for tracking cookie acceptance upon accessing the site.
Technologies similar to cookies
Like many websites, we use technologies similar to cookies, such as local shared objects (“Flash cookies”), browser history analysis, browser fingerprinting, and pixel tags (“web beacons”). These technologies help us and our providers understand how the site is used and whether the device has visited this or other sites previously.
We may associate IP addresses with user domain names or ISPs. We may also collect “clickstream data,” such as browser and device info, settings, referring pages, pages viewed or clicked, visit duration, downloads, next visited site, and search terms used.
How to control or delete cookies
Users can choose whether to accept cookies. However, refusing cookies may limit access to certain site features. If cyou choose to manage cookies, a technical cookie will still be set to enforce those preferences. Deleting cookies will remove this preference cookie, requiring the user to reselect preferences.
Cookies may be blocked using the selection links in the table above, or by modifying browser settings. Instructions are typically found in “Help,” “Tools,” or “Edit” menus. Disabling a cookie or category does not delete them — deletion must be done directly in the browser.
