Often isolated and without access to information, psychosocial support, or legal aid, they are trapped in a system that fails to protect them.<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"vidiemme-block focused-content  \" >\n  \n  <div class=\"container-xl\">\n    <div class=\"title mb-4\">What is ActionAid doing?<\/div>\n    \n    <div class=\"focused\">\n\n      \n            <div class=\"description\"><p>To respond to this invisible emergency, <strong>ActionAid launched a concrete and innovative solution in 2019<\/strong>: a digital platform designed to ensure safe and easy access to essential services \u2013 even for women with limited digital literacy.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2019, a <strong>chatbox was launched on major social media apps<\/strong>. It is simple to use and provides practical information on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>how to report violence and abuse,<\/li>\n<li>useful contact numbers for health, legal and protection services,<\/li>\n<li>awareness content on gender-based violence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The platform quickly grew, expanding its geographic coverage, number of services offered, and range of users reached \u2013 including youth, mothers, and other vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n<p>Together with its users, \u201c<strong>Darb Alaman<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 meaning <strong>Safe Path<\/strong> \u2013 was created: a clear and recognizable visual identity to strengthen the impact of the project and facilitate collaboration with similar service providers.
