Your donation makes a real difference
- In Kathmandu, Janakpur and Nepalgunj, Nepal, we support survivors of violence with vocational training, mentoring and help to set up small businesses. We connect women’s products with new markets.
- In Amman, Jordan, we involve 150–200 young people in technical and business training. This will give them access to mentoring, portfolio development, internships and job opportunities.
- In Bangladesh, we work with BGMEA, the national association of clothing manufacturers and exporters, to strengthen Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence. We run hundreds of orientation sessions for factory management teams to help them identify risks, strengthen workers’ voices and put remedy mechanisms in place.

Gift donations symbolically represent some of the work we carry out every day to protect women’s rights.
We use your contribution to deliver practical initiatives based on the project priorities identified by our local staff. Across the Federation, we allocate 70% of the funds raised to the countries and communities where we work. We use the remaining 30% for awareness-raising campaigns and to cover the organisation’s running costs.
After making your donation, you’ll receive an email from our team (sostenitori.ch@actionaid.org) with a link to download the gift card as a PDF (10 × 15 cm, also suitable for printing).
Yes! In many Swiss cantons, donations to ActionAid can be deducted from your tax return. Every year, we’ll send you a certificate that you can use for this purpose.
