Exclusion from education, Female Genital Mutilation, early or forced marriage, limited access to training and employment opportunities, and restrictions on participation in social and political life. All of this limits the freedom, health and future of millions of girls and women around the world, preventing them from freely choosing their own path in life.

How are donations used?

We use your contribution to implement concrete actions based on the priorities defined by our local teams.

As a federation, we allocate 70% of funds to the countries and communities we support. The remaining 30% is used for awareness campaigns and organizational costs.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes! In many Swiss cantons, donations to ActionAid can be deducted from your tax return. Each year, we will send you a donation receipt that you can use for this purpose.

How can I trust your organization?

ActionAid Switzerland was legally established on February 18, 2013, in Lugano, with the aim of fighting poverty and social exclusion worldwide. Since then, we have raised funds and supported many people and projects around the world. You can consult our annual report at any time to find all the details about our activities.
