Where we work
We are present in 75 countries worldwide.
Since 1972, we have been working alongside the most vulnerable communities in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East to promote their rights and fight poverty and inequality.
In 2024, we reached more than 45 million people, with a particular focus on supporting women and girls in their journey towards autonomy and dignity.
Being part of an international network allows us to act at local, national and global levels with targeted interventions rooted in the contexts where we operate.
We adopt a human rights–based and participatory approach: we do not bring solutions from the outside, but work together with communities, strengthening their ability to act and to claim their rights. We engage entire communities (men, women, children, families, institutions and religious leaders) because only collective action can address the root causes of injustice and create lasting change.
Our ultimate goal? To no longer be needed in the countries where we work. Because this means that communities have become autonomous and are able to shape their own future.
