Your donation makes a real difference.
- In Nepal, we work in hundreds of public schools, reaching around 35,000 girls and boys through literacy activities and initiatives to strengthen their skills and soft skills. We also train and raise awareness among teachers so they can better support students in their education and personal development.
- At Kapale Primary School in Zimbabwe, we built a 120-metre-deep well, installed 700 metres of pipes and a 10,000-litre water tank, and set up a 20 kVA solar system. The school now has water and electricity, helping girls and boys study in safer conditions.
- In the Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, we run Child Centres where children take part in educational activities, structured play and psychosocial support. This helps us continue to protect them and provide a space to learn while they are displaced.
- In Pursat, Cambodia, we support eight remote schools along Tonle Sap, reaching 2,085 students, teachers and community representatives with learning materials, digital tools and life-skills activities.

We use your contribution to deliver practical initiatives based on the project priorities identified by our local staff. Across the Federation, we allocate 70% of the funds raised to the countries and communities where we work. We use the remaining 30% for awareness-raising campaigns and to cover the organisation’s running costs.
After making your donation, you’ll receive an email from our team (sostenitori.ch@actionaid.org) with a link to download the gift card as a PDF (10 × 15 cm, also suitable for printing).
Yes! In many Swiss cantons, donations to ActionAid can be deducted from your tax return. Every year, we’ll send you a certificate that you can use for this purpose.
